Antonio Soto
What is your professional background?
"Professionally, I graduated in psychology and have specialised in addiction, health promotion and family counselling. I have been working with addicted people and their families since 1993, and have passed through different prevention and treatment programmes where I have always learned something new.
I consider myself a seeker, incomplete and in continuous evolution, which has led me to specialise in family therapy, prevention for young people and new addictions - those that instead of substances have to do with addictive behaviour, such as addiction to work, Internet or mobile phone."
What do you enjoy most about working for Triora?
"Since starting at TrioraMonteAlminara back in 2011, I have related to the comprehensive model of addiction treatment, which addresses a person as a whole and considers their essence, not just their substance abuse or problematic behaviour.
I appreciate the attention given to family support, which I consider essential to achieve long-term improvements.
At Triora MonteAlminara I feel part of a large family of professionals, patients, family and friends. In addition to intervening in individual and group therapy for both patients and families, I coordinate Prevention and New Addiction, where I feel very useful and am continuously learning."
