Ted on getting back on track
Ted drank for forty years. The first twenty may have been fairly enjoyable, but eventually he reached a point of no return, where his life was dominated by fear and his sole consideration was how to get his next drink.
Since overcoming alcohol abuse, Ted has successfully returned to work as a bibliographer - his employer was very supportive throughout. Ted’s new passion is travelling, something that he was unable to do before.
“I'm grateful to the clinic because they know the right way to guide you. They can put you on the right track… What could help me, in which areas I needed to become stronger. It was there, and you pointed it out. That's something to be grateful for.
