Exchanging ideas and expanding knowledge to advance addiction care

Triora presenting at iCAAD events 2017-2018

Triora has joined a reputable group of addiction clinics presenting at the International Conferences on Addiction and Associated Disorders (iCAAD) in 2017-2018. Triora is delighted to support iCAAD’s European events, dedicated to expanding knowledge, exchanging ideas, and advancing the prevention and treatment of addiction and other behavioural health issues.

Triora first joined iCAAD’s flagship London conference from 1-3 May 2017 and decided to continue the collaboration after its presence at the highly successful London event, that proved to be one of the world’s most prestigious conferences on addiction.

What are iCAAD events?

iCAAD events enable professionals from countries across Europe to collaborate and share their wealth of knowledge in the field of addiction treatment. Each year iCAAD holds several conferences around Europe, each event dealing with different themes such as how addiction manifests in distinct groups and communities, and specific treatment models to address different problems. Academics, researchers and practitioners share the latest research and developments in the treatment of addiction and associated disorders. iCAAD events focus on knowledge distribution and the acquisition of skills that can be applied in day-to-day practice.

Why is Triora presenting at iCAAD?

Triora’s team are at the cutting edge of current advancements relating to the treatment of addictions and co-occurring diseases. They are happy to share their experience and results together with current advancements and research, for the benefit of both health professionals and patients alike. iCAAD is the perfect forum for doing just that, in addition to learning from other experts in the field. For example, Triora’s Dr Constant Mouton published a series of articles ahead of this year’s iCAAD London, presenting the latest research on ADHD and Addiction.

What are the next upcoming iCAAD events?

iCAAD events have been held in the European capitals of Brussels, Paris and London so far this year. For the remainder of the year, as iCAAD speaker, Triora will have a presence at various events.

The next event is the Brussels conference being held on 12 October 2017 where Dr Mouton will give a joint presentation together with Christophe Sauerwein, Director of iCAA, on dual diagnosis entitled The Elephant in the Room.

Here is an overview of upcoming iCAAD events in Europe and beyond. For more information on iCAAD events, visit the iCAAD website. Triora will be presenting at the events highlighted in bold. We look forward to meeting you there.
