Michel Odufré
What is your professional background?
"After a turbulent start in life, I have worked in the health care sector since 1988, first as a group and family counsellor, later as a therapist and counsellor, and then manager in addiction care. In 2001, I set up Triora and gradually became Director of Care and Innovation at home and abroad. Over the years I have received a vocational degree in social work, a management degree, and a masters in management and innovation. I am grateful and proud that my experience and knowledge can contribute to the development of current clinical and outpatient care services."
What do you enjoy most about working for Triora?
"As Director of Care and Innovation, I have ultimate responsibility for Triora’s addiction care. I enjoy and trust the professional and experience-based expertise of the Triora team. The enthusiasm and fun goes hand in hand with independence and responsibility.
My task is to monitor and expand our vision, mission, methodology and core values. Our mission is, through the Triora Model, to help as many people suffering from addiction as possible to find their way in the recovery process. We are therefore constantly developing new treatment options, step by step. Being busy with this means my job is a big challenge - and I enjoy every step, every day."
Michel Odufré: co-creator of the Triora Model
"I am very proud that the method we have now developed has one of the highest long-term recovery rates in the world. A high percentage of our patients stay clean and sober, and are leading happy, fulfiling lives.”
