The prevention and treatment of drug use disorders needs to be scaled up world-wide in order to meet target 3.5 of the Sustainable Development Goals to strengthen the prevention and treatment of substance of abuse.
  • The knowledge base of the drug problem must be strengthened by improving data, analysis and dissemination at the national, regional and international levels, including on the links between drugs and other issues.
